If you prefer to arrive at the hotel by your own means, it is important to consider the following:
- We are located at a 45 minutes away from Chetumal’s airport; you should take the freeway to Escarcega and later take the Kohunlich Ruins deviation until you reach Kilometer 5.6. You will then be able to see the hotel’s entrance.
- If you are in Cancun, you can get there by taking the 307 Federal Expressway until you reach the 186 Freeway, known as Carretera Federal a Escacega. Travel 62 km south up to Francisco Villa town. Here, turn left on a road that will lead you to the Kohunlich Ruins.

The Southeastern Mexican climate is the following, depending on the season:
- From March to June: the temperature is excellent, fluctuating between 77°F and 86°F
- From June to October: the temperature is humid, fluctuating between 73.4°F and 84.2°F
- From November to February: due to the temperature is cooler, fluctuating between 64.4°F and 82.4°F, we recommend to wear a light sweater at night
According to your vacation’s weather conditions, we recommend you pack the following:
- Short Pants, capris or shorts.
- Several T-shirts, approximately 2 per day.
- Long sleeve cotton and light weight T-shirts, for the afternoon.
- An anorak for the afternoon, evening navigation and kayak tours.
- A pair of cotton trousers. NOT JEANS.
- Sweat pants (optional).

- Comfortable shoes: tennis shoes or soft hiking boots.
